Anti Tobacco Day 2023

To eradicate the use of tobacco and to save the children, national cadet corps( NCC and NSS) volunteers from navy and army wing held a campaign in DAV Public School on the occasion of anti tobacco day with the theme ‘We need food not tobacco' where more than 50 volunteers showcased the ill effects of tobacco consumption by slogans writing ,’Stop smoking or you will be croaking', ‘It’s a matter of your life ,dude,quit now This venture was organised under the guidance of Mrs Mrs Nimmi Chigal(NSS incharge) and Mrs Monika Gupta (NCC incharge) incharge with the objective to enlighten about deadly components of tobacco and its ill effects and to encourage the students to claim their right to health and healthy living and to protect the future generations.
‘Saying no to tobacco saying yes to life’ were the words of Principal Vivek Tiwari. He encouraged everyone to create a tobacco free generation and keep the key of a life in our hands and not give it to tobacco. He applauded the wonderful efforts of students who highlighted the diverse effects of tobacco in an aesthetic manner.
